So today I thought I’d upload something a little different onto the blog! Whilst the weather is all grey and Autumnal outside at the moment (we lit our log burner for the first time this season last night – it’s now officially Autumn!!) I’ve been looking back at a shoot I did in July for the talented and equally lovely Fred Clark.
I’ve known Fred for a little while now having met him at a Creative Brides networking event when I was just starting out in the world of wedding photography and we’ve since bumped into each other a few times. But last Summer Fred contacted me to do a photo shoot for his now newly released album Eternal Sun. He wanted something relaxed, casual, fun and beach-y and so we headed to Camber Sands one evening to capture just that!
It was such a nice atmosphere at the beach that evening – so many people were out for a summer evening at the beach, horses were galloping across the sand and I even had Fred’s great acoustic soundtrack in the background whilst I was snapping away! Perfect photo shoot conditions.
And since this shoot, I’ve got myself a copy of Fred’s new album Eternal Sun (I recommend you do the same!) which is now playing on repeat in my car. And as well as writing his own music and playing local gigs, Fred’s also available to play at weddings so if you’re looking for that perfect acoustic – chilled out – Jack Johnson-ish – summery kind of sound for your wedding day, then get in touch with him
I’m also super excited to have now met the lovely lady in Fred’s life – the wonderful Carys – as we all met up to chat possible wedding photography for their wedding in 2018 – so watch this space!!
