Saturday! What a day!
At the weekend it was the wonderful wedding day of the lovely James & Emily – two friends of mine! I had the pleasure of photographing the first half of their wedding day and then dancing the night away on the second half. 🙂
I started the day photographing James & the groomsmen (as well as a little knitted version of James which you can see below!) at Pluckley church in Kent. Then not long before the ceremony started, I nipped across the road to where Emily was getting ready at her parent’s house, to capture her and her Dad making their way over in the car. Emily looked so gorgeous!! The perfect Autumnal bride with orange flowers in her hair, a beautiful long veil and on her feet, in true Emily style, were a pair of boots. Just perfect!
The ceremony was lovely. The best part about photographing friends’ weddings is being able to be close to the front and seeing all the little moments through the lens.
After photos and confetti at the church we all headed to Egerton village hall only 5 minutes away where we captured more photos in the last of the golden light. This village hall is such a great place for a wedding reception – a big open space which you can really make your own and outside there’s a stunning view over the Kent countryside.
So, Mr & Mrs T…
